I’m Wayne, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my wife. We have been working hard to get back on our feet and were finally starting to make progress when everything seemed to hit us at once. We bought a 2006 Mazda to use as our daily driver, and it was helping us keep moving forward. Then after a difficult winter, we lost our apartment and job, and around the same time the engine in our car locked up. Losing our home, our work, and our only reliable transportation all at once has left us in a very hard place.
I have a GoFundMe but I couldn't put the link on the post
I’m Wayne, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my wife. We have been working hard to get back on our feet and were finally starting to make progress when everything seemed to hit us at once. We bought a 2006 Mazda to use as our daily driver, and it was helping us keep moving forward. Then after a difficult winter, we lost our apartment and job, and around the same time the engine in our car locked up. Losing our home, our work, and our only reliable transportation all at once has left us in a very hard place. Right now, we are living in an old 70s trailer that has bad wiring and mold-damaged bathroom floors, and we are trying to find a safer place to live. The support from this fundraiser would help us secure a better home first, and then help us get another vehicle, preferably a truck, so we can work and start rebuilding our lives. We are not asking for help because we do not want to try—we are asking because we truly need a hand getting through this season. If you can donate or share our fundraiser, it would mean so much to us. More than anything, I just hope people will see us not as bums, but as human beings who are doing our best and need support right now.
