My very much-needed car broke down

My young son races BMX every Sunday. We were on our way home after his races this afternoon and my transmission started going out on the freeway. I was able to coast it down an exit ramp to a safer spot and then I gave up 170 to have it towed home.

I am a full-time-employed, single mother to my son and my every week revolves around him and his enrichment activities. He participates in BMX and karate, as well as the various summer programs that our city has to offer. At the end of the day, our car is apart of our family, it is the machine that makes all of these amazing things happen.

I owe 1500 more before this car is officially mine and I meet the monthly quota on it every month. I just know that it won't be worth it to buy a new transmission since the car just hit 200,000 miles.

I would put the donations toward a down payment to get us a new daily driver so that we can continue our lives as we normally would.
