Why you shouldn't use public Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi at coffee shops, airports, or hotels isn't safe. Because these networks are open to everyone, hackers can easily connect to them too and steal your passwords, photos, or bank details.
What to do instead:
* Use your phone's data: It is much safer than public Wi-Fi.
* Wait until you get home: Don't log into important accounts (like your bank) while you are out.
* Use a VPN: If you absolutely have to use public Wi-Fi, turn on a VPN to lock down your information.
