Gray wolf travels 370 miles to reach Sequoia National Park.🐺🌲

BEY03F, a female gray wolf born in Northern California, traveled more than 370 miles south, marking the longest known southward wolf dispersal in the state. In 2026 she became the first confirmed gray wolf documented in Sequoia National Park in over 100 years. Wildlife experts believe she is seeking a mate and territory as California’s recovering wolf population expands.
