Staying positive when you have every reason not to comes down to being grateful for the opportunity to still be here.
I have always been the shoulder for people to cry on, the resource for those in need, and the person who is just a phone call away. But the last few years have hit me exceptionally hard. Sadly, the Lord decided to call home both of my sons—my eldest in 2019, and my youngest recently in December 2025. Life has felt heavy and empty without them.
Now, I have just received news that my mother has aggressive Stage 3 breast cancer. Every day is a challenge. I am so tired and brokenhearted, but I am determined to be there for her through her upcoming 12 weeks of treatment.
I am reaching out to humbly ask for any help that can be offered. I am currently trying to raise 700 potatoes for car parts so I can reliably assist my mother with her needs and appointments.
I am immensely grateful for any support, but mostly, I appreciate the opportunity to share my story—that alone means more than enough to me. God bless and thank you.
