Hi everyone, I’m a mom taking my two kids (12 & 14) on a 13-hour road trip from Florida to Virginia this Thursday (9/24). We are primarily going for my grandmother’s 80th surprise birthday party. She just finished cancer treatment, and this will be the first time my mom’s side of the family has all been together in one place since I was a little kid. My kids will get to meet relatives they’ve never met before, and some they may not get the chance to meet again. It’s been years and years since we’ve gone on vacation and I’ve never made a solo trip like this with my kids. My intentions with this trip are to spend time with our extended family, create amazing memories with my kids while connecting with them on a deeper level and also to connect with my past as I’ve done so much healing in recent years and I’m looking forward to revisiting my childhood with a fresh outlook.

I’ve already paid for our cabin ($308), and gas for the round trip will be about $250. I’m trying to give the kids some memorable experiences while we’re there, like Skyline Caverns ($78 for the three of us), a waterfall hike in Shenandoah ($30 park fee), safari park ($30/person), possibly kayaking or tubing ($75–$135 depending on what we choose), horseback riding ($60/person) and maybe a trip into DC or Harpers Ferry or Jamestown. I’ll also be contributing to groceries for family dinners at the campground.

I can cover the basics, but we just finally got caught up and out of debt, and things are really tight. This trip was a very last minute commitment after we found out about the surprise birthday party for my grandmother. My partner is staying home and working while I take my kids, and I’d love to enjoy this time with them without stressing over every little cost. If anyone feels led to help lighten the load a bit so we can do these activities, even a small amount would mean so much. Thank you for reading and for any kindness sent our way. ❤️

(since I can’t post pictures of my kids, I’ve included some of myself from the last 2 months doing my favorite things 😊)

UK tyrant used his “handcuffs like a knuckle duster”, breaking a man’s skull in broad daylight.
A police officer used his “handcuffs like a knuckle duster” during the arrest of a man in Manchester, leaving him with serious injuries to his head in broad daylight.

But incidents like this raise a bigger question: what is the main purpose of the police? Are they there to protect and serve the public, as we are told, or can the power given to them sometimes be used against the very people they are supposed to protect?

When you see armed men in uniform violently assaulting a citizen in public, how does that make you feel? Does it make you feel safer, or does it make you question the amount of power we allow the state to have over ordinary people?

Police are given significant powers in the name of public safety. But who watches those given that power, and what happens when that power is abused?

These are uncomfortable questions, but perhaps they are questions worth asking.

Think about it.

Hey, I hate to ask, but I’m really in a tough spot right now. I was just kicked out of where I was living and I’m currently living out of my car. I paid all of our bills over the weekend, so I have nothing left for food, gas, or somewhere to stay until Thursday. I have to be able to get to work this week, and I can repay you Thursday when I get my deposit. I can also prove that I get paid/deposits then. I’m not asking for anything beyond what I need to get through this week. If you’re able to help me out, I’d be incredibly grateful

I’m Humbly Asking for $500 to Help Me Pay My Debt and Rent

Hello everyone,

This is not an easy thing for me to do, but I am putting my pride aside and asking for help.

I am currently going through a very difficult financial period. I have debts that I need to pay, and at the same time I am struggling to raise enough money for my rent and basic expenses.

I have been working hard to build my small business and create a more stable future for myself, but things have been financially difficult, and I have reached a point where I genuinely need a helping hand.

I am trying to raise $500. The money will help me settle some of what I owe and put something towards my rent so that I can have some breathing room and continue working towards getting back on my feet.

I know that everyone has their own struggles, so I am not asking anyone to give what they cannot afford. Even $5, $10, or $20 would make a difference if enough people are willing to help.

I am simply asking for kindness during a difficult moment in my life. I am not giving up, and I am continuing to work and look for ways to improve my situation. I just need some assistance to get through this particular period.

If you can help me financially, I will be genuinely grateful. If you cannot donate, sharing my request would also mean a lot to me.

Thank you for reading my story and for any kindness you can offer.

My goal: $500

God bless you and everyone who takes the time to help.

Hello to all who read this, hope your days are going good. My vehicle was recently set on fire which has limited me and put me into exhaustion. Today is my daughter's 4th birthday and I've been so distracted with my burnt car I don't have anything for her. I shake my head at my own self.... can someone help out with around $100-200? So I can get the stuff needed for a party? I indubitably appreciate anything.. cashapp is $MommYBananA26

My son has been asking for a superhero pack for his game for the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately i havent been able to get it for him as ive been trying to play catch up on all of my bills. So were asking for lile $12 to get him this superhero pack. Its only $10 but the extra 2 should cover taxes.
