I hate asking for help.
I managed to escape a marriage almost a year ago after over 20 years of dealing with DV, and saved enough for a down payment on a home for me and my boys. I settle next week but the funds I had set aside for new home furnishings had to be used to replace my HVAC, transmission, frozen burst pipes, etc.
He is taking nearly everything, and I have been able to secure some necessities but not enough. Thank you for your time.
